I guess i’m a little confused. Having served on numerous non-profit boards, I know for a fact that complete disclosure to the public of finances was not only mandatory through public access to board minutes but through organizations such as www.guidestar.org.
Compliance is necessary for grant eligibility, funding, etc. I guess the nondisclosure only applied to “certain political groups that run attack ads while not publicly disclosing the identities of their donors”
